Description
Damen Marine Components is hiring a Field Service Engineer / all-round service technician for its Service department. The role involves installing, inspecting, maintaining, repairing, testing, adjusting, commissioning, and troubleshooting hydraulic, mechanical, and some electrical shipboard installations, including steering gears and rudder systems. The technician works independently at shipyards, ports, vessels, and occasionally in the workshop, prepares parts and service reports, provides first-line fault support, and joins an on-call roster. Maritime experience is helpful but not required; candidates from vehicle, truck, hydraulic, automotive, or comparable technical service backgrounds are welcome.
