Applied Materials is hiring a full-time Field Service Engineer / Customer Engineer in Manassas, Virginia, to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, recover, and improve semiconductor manufacturing equipment. The role coordinates with customers, maintenance technicians, engineering teams, and other stakeholders; performs root-cause analysis and corrective maintenance; supports tool installations, upgrades, retrofits, and qualification; and maintains service documentation and safety compliance. The position requires an associate’s degree in a relevant technical field, strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, diagnostic-tool experience, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts, including occasional off-shift, weekend, or emergency recovery activities. The salary range is $37.00 to $51.20, with 25% travel and relocation eligibility.
