SPT Labtech is hiring a UK-based Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automated laboratory equipment, primarily across the UK and mainland Europe. The role involves emergency repairs, preventative maintenance, installations, documentation, product-quality reporting, customer communication, and collaboration with Sales and Field Applications teams. Candidates need electro-mechanical and automated-systems experience, preferably in pharmaceutical or healthcare environments and with liquid-handling equipment, an engineering apprenticeship with HNC or an HND in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, strong planning and communication skills, a valid passport and driving licence, and willingness to undertake substantial overnight travel.
