Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering/Electrical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 0-1 years of experience, or Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering/Electrical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of experience servicing Life Support medical equipment.
Required Previous Experiences
Experience servicing Life Support medical equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, electro-mechanical and electronic fundamentals, medical equipment function and operation, safety in healthcare facilities, and medical equipment troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of TJC, DNV, HFAP, CAP, NFPA, CMS, HIPAA, other applicable standards and regulations.
Strong planning and organization, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
Ability to analyze complex problems and recommend solutions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to write reports and make presentations on operational and technical issues.
