Applied Materials is hiring a full-time Field Service Engineer [Customer Engineer] in Phoenix, Arizona, to serve as a technical liaison for customers and support CVD equipment installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades. The role leads complex equipment failures, root-cause analysis, machine availability, preventive and corrective maintenance, continuous improvement, vendor coordination, and coaching of junior engineers. Candidates need at least five years of semiconductor industry experience, hands-on CVD equipment expertise, direct experience with AMAT, ASM, or LAM tools, and a bachelor’s degree in materials science, chemical engineering, or mechanical engineering; a master’s degree is preferred. The position offers $45.00–$62.20, requires 20% travel, and is eligible for relocation.
