Description
BD is hiring a remote field-based BD Pyxis Field Service Engineer 1 to provide on-site and remote technical support for Pyxis automated dispensing systems in hospitals and other healthcare facilities. The role involves diagnosing and repairing proprietary hardware and software, responding to work orders, performing preventive maintenance, supporting installations and calibration, maintaining parts inventory, and documenting field activity. Candidates need an associate degree in healthcare technology or a related technical field, or 3–5 years of related experience, along with hardware/software/IT experience, 24/7 on-call experience, computer electronics and Windows experience, and a valid driver’s license. The position is based in Tempe, Arizona, with daily travel to customer locations, possible overnight travel, and a company vehicle.
