Description
The RMS Manual Machinist operates and sets up conventional machining equipment such as lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and grinders to produce, modify, and repair precision rotating-machinery components. The role requires blueprint interpretation, precision measurement, tight-tolerance machining, quality inspection, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration with shop personnel. It is a full-time position based at RMS’s Perris-Houston, Texas facility, with up to 50% domestic and international travel, and requires 5–10 years of manual machining experience, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass drug, alcohol, and background screening.
