Description
The Semiconductor Equipment Service Technician performs on-site service, repair, troubleshooting, upgrades, modifications, and emergency response for semiconductor processing equipment. The role also coordinates with customers and internal teams, orders and installs parts, instructs customer operating technicians, maintains equipment records, and follows safety and clean-room procedures. It requires an associate degree in electronics, engineering, or a related field; a bachelor's degree in engineering or technology is preferred; at least two years of experience maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting semiconductor capital equipment; strong customer-interface, mechanical, and technical skills; and the ability to work in confined, clean-room environments and perform physically demanding tasks.
