Volm Companies is hiring a Field Service Technician to report to the Equipment Supervisor and perform field and in-house service, installation, setup, repair, and maintenance of electro-mechanical, electrical, mechanical, computer, and industrial systems in production settings. The role travels to customer locations throughout North America, including frequent overnight travel of up to 75%, and includes equipment testing, loading and unloading, customer training, troubleshooting, documentation, and on-call phone support. The position requires mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems knowledge, the ability to read schematics and hydraulic drawings, strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, and physical ability to perform demanding field work.
