Ipsen is hiring a remote Field Service Tech to service heat treatment equipment in the Greenville, South Carolina area and surrounding regions. The role involves installing, repairing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and calibrating equipment at customer sites, coordinating repairs with support teams, documenting service and warranty information, and representing Ipsen professionally. It requires extensive travel, including up to 90% travel and possible two-week assignments, with a home base near the assigned market and training that may last six months to one year. Applicants need a high school diploma or GED, two years of related industrial equipment, maintenance, or control systems experience or a two-year technical certification, mechanical or electrical aptitude, strong troubleshooting and customer service skills, a valid driver’s license, and service automobile insurance.
