Smith Pump Company, Inc. is hiring a full-time, mid-level Field Service Technician in Fort Worth, Texas. The role involves inspecting, troubleshooting, removing, installing, starting up, maintaining, and repairing water, wastewater, and industrial pumps; operating mobile pump service rig trucks; and performing shop-based teardown, inspection, reporting, and repair. The position requires approximately 75% travel throughout the Texas market and includes duties such as pump diagnostics, tool maintenance, and customer communication. Required qualifications include service technician or mechanic experience, knowledge of water pumps or electrical or mechanical equipment, leadership and customer service skills, and the ability to drive a commercial vehicle daily. Preferred qualifications include five years of pump field service experience, Texas Pump Installer certification, Microsoft Office proficiency, and a Class A Commercial Driver's License.
