Description
Sungrow is hiring a contract Field Service Engineer to support commissioning, warranty, and operations and maintenance of solar PV and battery energy storage systems in the Ontario, California area. The role troubleshoots, repairs, maintains, and upgrades inverters, PCS, batteries, and ancillary equipment; performs pre-commissioning and commissioning; investigates plant issues; coordinates with customers and engineering teams; leads field upgrade projects; and maintains safety, documentation, and contractor compliance. The position requires at least three years of technical experience, two years in solar inverters or BESS, a valid driver’s license, and 80% or more travel; compensation is $36–$40 per hour plus overtime in the specified states.
