Description
Omnicell is hiring a remote Field Service Engineer supporting the East Pennsylvania (Scranton/Wilkes-Barre) area. The role provides onsite troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and emergency maintenance of Omnicell electro-mechanical and automation solutions, documents service events, manages parts inventory, and escalates product issues. Level I engineers work with moderate-scope problems and nursing and pharmacy staff, while Level II engineers independently handle advanced-scope problems, provide coaching and mentoring, and communicate with director-level staff. Both levels require coursework in Network Engineering, Robotics, or Electronics and hospital experience; Level II also lists engineering or technology education and relevant experience as preferred qualifications.
