Description

EUROIMMUN, a division of Revvity, is hiring a full-time Field Support Engineer to provide field service, maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, decommissioning, preventative maintenance, warranty services, training, and technical support for EUROIMMUN instrumentation and products. The role responds to routine and emergency service requests, documents work in accordance with company and FDA requirements, maintains equipment and spare parts, and may require travel to customer sites, exhibitions, and other locations. Applicants need an applicable associate or technical degree or four years of military training, plus two or more years of relevant field service or laboratory experience; the salary range is USD 75,000–85,000 annually.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Associate or technical degree in Applied Science, Biology, Chemistry, Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or STEM; four years of military training; or vocational education emphasizing instrumentation and computers.
Required Previous Experiences: Two or more years of experience as a field service representative or laboratory medical technologist/scientist.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with automated chemiluminescent and enzyme immunoassay diagnostic instrumentation and assays.
Experience with biomedical instrumentation service, repair, quality control, computers, application software, and FDA regulations.
Ability to function independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to present training seminars to customers.
