Description
Akira Technologies is hiring a Field Support Technician to support the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Research and Development on advanced defense technology and mission initiatives. Reporting to the Lead Hardware Engineer, the role involves installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, configuring, and deploying navigation sensors, onboard computing systems, cabling, and equipment enclosures; creating installation guides; providing end-user training; and coordinating repairs and replacements. The position is hybrid, requiring up to three days per week in Washington, DC and travel of up to 25%, including Hawaii and Colorado, and requires an active Top Secret clearance. The salary range is $90,000 to $100,000, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, leave, and other benefits.
