Description
The Field System Engineer serves bioMérieux customers in an assigned Columbus, Ohio territory and nationally on an as-needed basis, performing installations, maintenance, upgrades, repairs, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. The role requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or technology discipline and at least two years of experience troubleshooting or repairing complex electro-mechanical, electronic, computer, or electrical systems; a valid driver's license is required. The position involves extensive domestic travel, including approximately 50% weekday driving, weekend and holiday on-call coverage, and occasional overnight or national travel, with an estimated hourly wage of $32.10 to $48.20 and medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.
