Silicate is hiring a Field Technician to support field-scale enhanced weathering research and carbon dioxide removal deployments across rural sites in Ireland. The role combines field sampling of soils, soil waters, and surface waters with laboratory geochemical measurements, sample management, stakeholder liaison, and help developing analytical protocols for carbon removal quantification. The position requires a relevant science degree, familiarity with GIS and statistical programming tools, strong field and lab practices, good organization and communication, and a full EU driving licence.
