The role is outdoors and physically demanding, requiring walking 4–7 miles per day, lifting up to 25 pounds, and working in varied weather. No prior experience is required because paid training and industry-recognized certifications are provided. Applicants need a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, the ability to pass a DOT drug screen and background check, physical ability, technology proficiency, hand-tool ability, map-reading ability, and strong reliability.
