EquipmentShare is hiring a Field Technician (Mechanic) specializing in pumps, power, and HVAC equipment at its Advanced Solutions rental facility in Gaston, South Carolina. The role performs preventive maintenance and repairs on generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and oil-free air compressors; troubleshoots equipment at the shop and customer sites; uses laptops and tablets to manage work orders and service intervals; and may travel to customer job sites. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime after 40 hours and on-call scheduling with additional compensation. Required qualifications include advanced mechanical aptitude, experience with power generators or commercial HVAC equipment, knowledge of tonnage and kW calculations and schematics, customer service and communication skills, a high school diploma or trade school certificate, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
