The Field Welder is a highly skilled structural professional tasked with performing essential welding, cutting, and fabrication duties for various marine structures such as seawalls, pump stations, and docks. This role demands versatility to deliver high-quality welds in demanding outdoor conditions, including over water, on construction barges, and from scaffolding. It mainly involves structural stick welding (SMAW) for heavy civil and marine structures, along with periodic equipment repairs and maintenance.
