Description
Great Basin Industrial is hiring an experienced Field Welder for full-time hourly work traveling to industrial construction project sites throughout the United States. The role involves welding aboveground storage tanks, structural steel, piping, and other industrial components using SMAW, FCAW, and GMAW; interpreting blueprints and weld symbols; preparing and inspecting welds; operating welding and power tools; and following OSHA, site, and company safety requirements. Applicants need at least two years of field welding experience, demonstrated SMAW proficiency, the ability to pass required welding tests and screenings, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel extensively and work extended, weekend, night, or swing shifts.
