Description
Catalyst Metals is hiring a Scheduling Engineer for its underground Plutonic Gold Mine in Western Australia. The role develops and maintains monthly 3-Month Schedules, coordinates underground mining activities, plans infrastructure and support projects, monitors plan compliance, and drives continuous improvement across planning and scheduling processes. It reports to the Senior Planning Engineer, collaborates with geology, operations, maintenance and other technical teams, and includes mentorship of Short-Term Planning Engineers. The position is offered on an 8 days on, 6 days off FIFO roster, with a planned transition to a 4 days on, 3 days off roster subject to operational requirements. Candidates need a tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or a relevant discipline, a current Western Australian C Class Driver's Licence, underground mine planning or scheduling experience, and strong Deswik CAD, Deswik Scheduler, Deswik Ops, Microsoft Office, and analytical skills.
