Pyka is hiring an Assembly & Prototyping Technician in Alameda to support the build, integration, testing, maintenance, and continued development of autonomous electric aircraft. The role involves assembling mechanical and electrical systems, fabricating and modifying prototype components, integrating aircraft subsystems, troubleshooting issues, collaborating with engineers, and improving assembly and testing processes. Candidates should have hands-on technical experience, strong mechanical aptitude, precision tool proficiency, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach; aviation, automotive, motorsports, marine, industrial manufacturing, or similar backgrounds are relevant. The position offers hourly compensation of $35–$39 for Technician Level 2 and $39–$45 for Senior Technician, plus equity and health, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.
