Description

Hex Trust is seeking a Finance Associate to manage daily accounting operations and financial controls for group entities in Hong Kong. The role involves owning month-end book closings, supporting corporate group reporting, managing accounts receivable and payable, coordinating with auditors and tax advisors, and designing finance workflow automations using AI tools.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience
Preferred Qualifications: prior exposure to big 4 auditing, financial services, digital asset businesses, or a multi-entity regulated environment is strongly preferred.
Exposure to digital assets or crypto accounting is an advantage;
Demonstrated experience implementing AI tools within finance workflows, with practical examples across areas such as reconciliation, reporting automation, or exception flagging, is strongly preferred.
Experience with Workday or a comparable ERP system (Xero, NetSuite, SAP) is an advantage.
Solid grounding in multi-entity accounting, intercompany processes, and group consolidation; experience supporting external audit and tax compliance coordination across multiple jurisdictions is an advantage.
Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with AI tools applied to finance workflows is an advantage.
Cantonese or Mandarin proficiency is a practical advantage given the team's Hong Kong base and the broader regional entity footprint.
