Description
Prefect is hiring a Finance Operations Accountant to own operating expense accounting, including monthly accruals, cash feeds, budget versus actuals, vendor bill payments, corporate card programs, travel and expense reimbursements, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end close. The role also supports federal and state reporting, tax filings, budget forecasting, and process automation using tools such as Ramp, Navan, Stripe, and Rillet. Candidates need at least three years of progressive accounting experience, hands-on AP, card, or T&E ownership, modern finance-tool experience, strong Excel skills, and a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
