Description

Ofload is seeking a Financial Controller to join their finance team in Sydney. This role involves leading the financial close process, managing financial reporting and controls, overseeing treasury and debt relationships, and driving technical accounting excellence. The controller will also be responsible for developing a finance team and implementing system improvements such as NetSuite implementations.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 8+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
3+ years in a Financial Controller, Senior Finance Manager, or equivalent leadership capacity.
Proven experience owning financial reporting and controls in a scaling business, preferably in tech, SaaS, or a high-growth industry.
Preferred Qualifications: Deep technical accounting knowledge (AASB/IFRS), with hands-on experience in statutory reporting and external audit management.
Strong working knowledge of NetSuite or comparable ERP systems.
A data-led approach to decision-making with a strong issue resolution mindset.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills — able to translate complexity for non-finance audiences.
Hands-on and collaborative — you thrive building things, not just maintaining them.
