PayByPhone is hiring a UK Financial Controller in Hatfield, United Kingdom, on a permanent full-time hybrid basis. The role leads the UK finance function and accounting operations, including financial reporting, statutory and tax compliance, company secretarial duties, cash management, treasury, payroll, reconciliations, and month-end close. It also partners with commercial leadership, supports FP&A, leads the UK Finance Team, and contributes to global consolidation and process improvement. The position requires a qualified accountant with at least seven years of full-cycle accounting experience, UK GAAP and VAT knowledge, ERP experience, and strong internal-controls and team-leadership skills.
