Entrepreneur Cooperative is hiring a Financial Controller (Contract) for a fully remote role based in Uruguay. The position is full-time and contractor-based, reporting to the CFO, and focuses on owning the general ledger, supervising bookkeeping, managing monthly close and financial reporting, cash flow, compliance, and leading the transition from outsourced accounting to an in-house finance function. The role requires advanced English, strong accounting and QuickBooks experience, and prior leadership over accounting teams, with preference for candidates in real estate, construction, architecture, engineering, or design environments; compensation is $2,000–$4,000 USD per month and the engagement starts with a three-month trial period.
