Johns Hopkins University is seeking a Financial Counselor for the SOM OB GYN Production Unit Billing department at Greenspring Station. The role coordinates pre-registration and financial clearance for scheduled and unscheduled outpatient and/or inpatient appointments, including insurance verification, referrals, authorizations, patient and physician communication, documentation, and simple reporting. Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years of related medical office, hospital, medical call center, or similar customer service experience, and host-system certification obtained during the 120-day introductory period.
