Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer is seeking a Financial Crime & Sanctions Advisor to join their Legal Team. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day financial crime advisory support, drive policy development, assess and mitigate risks, respond to regulatory inquiries, and prepare documentation. This role requires a strong understanding of AML/CTF regulations and international sanctions regimes.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 4+ years of experience in a regulated financial crime environment.
Preferred Qualifications: Technical expertise on applicable financial crime and AML/CTF regulations and legislation.
In-depth knowledge of international sanctions regimes, including OFSI, OFAC, EU and DFAT requirements and regulatory expectations.
Ability to handle complex and confidential matters, with total discretion.
Excellent research and analytical skills.
Good commercial awareness.
Ability to prioritize workload.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work autonomously and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent verbal, written and face to face communication skills.
