Description

IMAX is seeking an Analyst, Financial Reporting to join their team. This role involves supporting financial reporting, consolidation, technical accounting, and financial analysis activities, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements. The analyst will assist with complex accounting matters such as revenue recognition, consolidations, and internal and external reporting for a global organization.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Required Previous Experiences: CPA designation or working towards obtaining.
Understanding of U.S. GAAP and familiarity with ASC 606 or IFRS 15.
1-3 years of experience in public accounting and/or financial reporting or corporate accounting.
Preferred Qualifications: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Advanced working knowledge of Excel.
Experience with AI-enabled productivity tools, or data analytics solutions is considered an asset.
