Description
The FinOps Engineer will own cloud and SaaS cost visibility, optimization, and governance across AWS and GCP environments. The role involves building cost dashboards, establishing tagging standards, creating spend-alerting, right-sizing infrastructure, identifying cost-saving opportunities, recommending cost-efficient architectures, and establishing budget guardrails. The position collaborates with DevOps, Engineering, and Finance teams and requires cloud financial management experience, FinOps tool knowledge, Kubernetes and serverless expertise, cost-optimization experience, and SQL or Python data-analysis skills.
