The role focuses on cost transparency, cloud spend optimization, forecasting, tagging and budgeting governance, workload placement, automation, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, product, and finance teams. Candidates need at least five years of experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, SRE, or DevOps, strong GCP and AWS knowledge, Kubernetes expertise, and proficiency with cost-monitoring tools and data pipelines.
