Description
Redwood is hiring a senior individual-contributor FinOps Lead to build and govern cloud and AI/LLM cost attribution, forecasting, optimization, and reporting programs. The role owns AWS and other public cloud spend models, product-line and feature-level attribution, savings-plan utilization, budget forecasting, cost guardrails, and unit-economic analysis for AI features. It reports to the Senior Director, Product Engineering Operations and partners with Cloud Engineering, product, and executive leadership. Candidates need 5–7+ years of FinOps or related experience, hands-on AWS cost tools and SQL, financial modeling, executive communication, and the ability to influence engineering and architecture decisions on cost grounds.
