Description
Total Fire Protection is hiring a full-time Fire Alarm Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates for fire alarm systems across commercial, industrial, and residential projects. The role analyzes project plans and specifications, interprets blueprints, monitors market pricing, collaborates with project managers, engineers, and sales teams, conducts site visits, maintains estimating databases, and supports bid preparation. Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, fire alarm or low-voltage estimating experience, knowledge of NFPA codes and local regulations, blueprint-reading ability, estimating software familiarity, strong analytical and communication skills, and a valid driver's license. The position offers a base salary plus commissions totaling $100,000 to $200,000 annually, an eight-hour Monday-to-Friday schedule, and health, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.
