Description
Framatome is hiring a Fire Engineer for its HPC and SZC nuclear projects in the United Kingdom. The role covers fire prevention and protection studies for Nuclear Island buildings, combustible-material risk analysis, fire-modelling with MAGIC software, fire-consequence and propagation assessments, damage-risk analysis, regulatory fire-life-safety assessments, protection-solution recommendations, design-change impact reviews, and deliverable coordination. The position requires a master-level qualification, experience in nuclear safety and fire protection, knowledge of UK fire regulations and BS9999, fluent English, and the ability to work under pressure; French is a bonus. The role is non fixed term and is based at Aztec West in Bristol.
