Description
The Firefighter responds to aircraft and structural fires, medical emergencies, hazardous-material incidents, and other emergencies on airport premises. The role includes firefighting, search and rescue, first aid, basic life support, equipment inspections and maintenance, incident reporting, regulatory compliance, and coordination with airport operations, medical services, and external emergency agencies. A diploma in Fire Fighting Technology or equivalent and accredited firefighting certification are required, along with 2–3 years of firefighting experience, preferably in aircraft rescue and fire fighting operations.
