Description
The Fire Marshal is responsible for fire code enforcement, fire origin and cause investigations, fire safety inspections, and ensuring that fire doors, exits, escape routes, and safety equipment are properly maintained. The role requires knowledge of fire prevention and investigation principles, building and electrical systems, hazardous materials, applicable laws and standards, and fire safety equipment. It has no supervisory responsibility, requires periodic access to confidential company plans, and involves lifting up to 25 pounds, frequent standing and walking, and close vision.
