Description
HDR is hiring a Fire Protection Designer/EIT to assist with fire protection project work under a Senior Fire Protection Engineer. The role includes client and contractor meetings, interpreting engineering data, reviewing drawings and contract documents, monitoring schedules and budgets, coordinating with other disciplines, summarizing applicable codes, and assisting with specifications. Candidates should have an EIT certificate, at least two years of fire and life safety design or regulatory enforcement experience, and a bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
