SpaceXAI is hiring a Fire Protection Engineer to provide engineering design support and subject-matter expertise for fire protection, life safety, building and fire codes, hazardous materials, fire hazards, fire investigation support, and related fire and life safety issues. The role supports fire and life safety system design, code compliance, hazardous material analysis, construction field solutions, commissioning, code reviews, technical reporting, contractor shop drawings, and performance-based design alternatives. It requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least two years of experience in fire protection system design and construction or fire protection consulting. The position is based in the Memphis, Tennessee area and requires onsite work, with possible travel and extended hours or weekends.
