Description
The Fire Protection Inspector performs fire prevention and inspection duties in a high-fire-expectancy environment, including inspections of facilities and fire-protection systems, review of engineering plans, development of inspection documentation, and education and training programs. The role requires U.S. citizenship, Selective Service registration, a security clearance, current certifications, a valid driver's license, and the ability to perform strenuous physical work, including possible fire-ground safety officer duties. It is a 60-hour workweek position subject to shift work, emergency overtime, and a pre-employment physical.
