The Port of Dover is hiring a Fire Safety Manager/Engineer for a six-month fixed-term contract to establish and implement a comprehensive fire safety strategy and management system across its port estate. The role covers fire risk assessments, fire safety governance, compliance with legislation, audits, emergency planning, contractor controls, stakeholder liaison, and technical assurance across buildings, engineering projects, marine facilities, and infrastructure developments. The position requires a relevant technical degree, advanced fire safety competence, fire risk assessment qualifications, and the ability to access heights and vessels; it offers £60,000 per annum pro rata and requires UK right to work.
