Description
The Fire Science Lab Assistant is a temporary part-time hourly position at Central Oregon Community College in Bend, responsible for assisting the EMT course director with instruction and evaluation of student performance in the fire science laboratory. The role supports career planning and follow-up studies, requires knowledge of fire science and teaching, and may require travel, varied hours, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. A high school diploma or equivalent and one year of fire science or related coursework are required; an AAS degree in fire science or a related field is preferred.
