Description
The Fire Service Training Adjunct Instructor provides competency-based, entry-level fire service training in classroom lectures and laboratory projects, prepares students for public-service firefighter careers, manages the classroom and student conduct, and maintains safety practices. The role is adjunct faculty, has no supervisory responsibilities, and requires IFSAC certification, Firefighter 1 and 2 and Instructor 1 credentials, five years of recent gainful fire service employment, and professional technical teaching experience. A bachelor’s degree in Fire Science or a related field and EMT certification are preferred.
