Target Maintenance is hiring a hands-on, site-based Fire Stopper to carry out fire stopping works across multiple commercial and residential sites, helping prevent the spread of fire and smoke through buildings. The role involves installing fire-rated materials, following drawings and manufacturer guidance, keeping work areas safe and tidy, recording completed work on a tablet or phone, and communicating with supervisors and site contacts. Experience in fire stopping, construction, or maintenance is helpful but not essential, and the role is suited to someone practical, reliable, and willing to learn. The position offers a day-rate contract with company van, fuel card, uniform, PPE, and overtime opportunities.
