Description
The Firefighter Instructor provides instruction in accordance with the college's philosophy and objectives, follows approved course syllabi, adapts teaching methods to diverse student backgrounds, maintains office hours, supports student evaluation, and participates in professional development. The role requires an Associate's of Applied Science degree, three years of firefighter work experience, discipline-specific teaching experience, community-college-level teaching ability, classroom technology skills, and current TCFP Firefighter Certification and Instructor II Certification. It is a security-sensitive, part-time, semester-by-semester position with day, evening, and weekend classes, and applicants must submit an online application with transcripts.
