Description
The Firefighter performs fire suppression, rescue, hazardous-materials response, emergency medical response at First Responder or EMT-Basic level, fire apparatus and station maintenance, inspections, reporting, pre-fire planning, public education, and required training. The role requires physical ability to perform heavy work, emergency decision-making, and knowledge of firefighting, incident response, and emergency medical procedures; desirable qualifications include NFPA firefighter and hazardous-materials certifications, a Class C driver’s license, and relevant fire-service experience. The stated salary range is $42,778.74 to $48,162.08.
