Description
The City of Montgomery is hiring a full-time Firefighter Trainee for the Montgomery Fire Rescue. Trainees begin a Recruit School, complete physical and coursework requirements, assist under supervision, and then become permanent Firefighters after a six-month probationary period. The role pays $21.68 per hour and requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, CPAT and NFPA 1582 medical exam, physical fitness tests, and completion of approximately 22 weeks of academy training including Firefighter I/II certification and an EMT I license.
