Description
Whisker is hiring a Firmware Architect to lead the end-to-end design and architecture of scalable, secure, high-performance firmware systems for IoT devices. The role combines hands-on firmware development with technical leadership, mentorship, code review, architecture governance, and guidance of embedded systems across multiple platforms. It requires a relevant degree or equivalent experience and 15+ years of firmware engineering experience, including 5+ years as a firmware architect and 5+ years of low-level embedded firmware development. The position is onsite 4+ days per week in Auburn Hills, Michigan, or Juneau, Wisconsin, and includes medical, dental, and vision insurance among other benefits.
