Description
The Firmware/Embedded Software Engineer will participate in designing, implementing, and testing firmware and software systems; collaborate with Hardware Engineers on hardware-software interactions; prepare and maintain design and test documentation; and mentor Associate Engineers and Technicians. The role requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent field, plus experience in embedded systems, firmware development, Windows GUI applications, and test development. Preferred qualifications include industrial controls, power systems, communications protocols, circuitry, signal processing, and project management. The position is based in Charlotte, North Carolina, with a pay range of $89,400 to $134,100 and medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.
